[SOLVED] Need help finding prebuild for friend (UK) £1200

Hello, recently a friend of mine has asked me to help him with building a pc, however we live rather far apart and he doesn't feel confident with building a pc himself so he has asked me to guide him on choosing a prebuild. Unfortunately I'm not the best with selecting prebuilds (mostly due to websites having restricted parts) and so I need some help. Currently I've been looking on PCspecialist as their build cost and delivery time seem reasonable, however after tediously selecting parts there seems to have been a shift in stock and now half the parts I had in the build are no longer there, which was pretty demotivating.
I was wondering whether anyone here knew of a good prebuild for £1200? If not, does anyone have any advice?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :).

Solution
the best advice for any pre-built system is to find one close enough to you\them that one can physically travel there when needed for support and any warranty related issues.

any issue that may arise with the system, which is a higher chance with many pre-built systems,
will usually demand the entire system needs to be shipped back for inspection.
some companies may cover this under certain warranties but most will charge extravagant shipping prices.
if they determine any issue was caused by the owner, you may also get charged repair + service fees to get your system back.

another issue with pre-builts is that they usually include many of the lowest grade components they can find;
low quality sometimes even dangerous power supplies...

I would always recommend to build a PC, as you'll pay less, even so in the current market. However, I have found that ebuyer have some reasonably priced RTX 3060/3070 systems for around that price.

low quality memory,
low quality disks,
even low quality OEM-style motherboards.

any pre-built system being purchased should always have a very detailed description of ALL parts and a very detailed invoice included with it.
if contacting the manufacturer leads to no definite explanation of parts included, tell them to get lost.

" we live rather far apart and he doesn't feel confident with building a pc himself " Unfortunately prebuild is the only realistic option as my friend isnt into PC building and has very limited knowledge and doesnt feel comfortable with building it, I'm well aware of the benefits of building your own as Ive built a few myself but it just wouldnt work. Do you happen to have any links to builds with 3060/3070s for £1200? Seems way too good to be true but I would happily take a look. Thanks for the help

Sounds like solid advice, Ill keep that in mind. The issue with low grade components is the main reason I've been looking at custom sites that allow you to select the parts yourself as I thought this would allow me to avoid the issue. Would you still suggest a local non-custom prebuild over this option? With pcspecialist they have a seemingly good warranty and good reviews so they seemed reliable

that really depends.
if you actually get to pick & choose EVERY component that is a plus.

but you should also have your friend really research their warranty, RMA, and return policies
and ensure that they will cover any shipping either way.

finding out if they guarantee each component separately or only as a whole system package is a big deal.
if a single component fails it's much easier\better if they will handle that item as a separate warranty rather than having to return the entire system and hoping they don't cause any more issues through shipping & handling.

Here are some decent links for you.

I have personally recommended AlphaSync PC builds to my friends, and all of them have had 0 issues. They have amazing support too.

My PC currently was purchased from AlphaSync too, as my specs show below. I have had 0 issues, and all components were brand new.
Those builds seem very on point, not too sure about the airflow on the case with the 3060 though, seems very restricted. Thanks for the recommendation for AlphaSync, will definitely keep looking into them. Thanks :)
