need help fixing fps problem

Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8144MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
I am able to run most games on high with no problem (arma 3, PUBG) but when i just bought rainbow 6 recently i cant seem to get above 20-50 fps in game. ive tried messing with setting but nothing. at the home screen i can run 300 fps its only when we start the match it drops and its the only game that does this.

It's more your CPU than GPU. R6 Seige is a very CPU demanding game, and you only have a Ryzen 3. Ryzen CPUs require high speed RAM and a hefty overclock to be competitive with Intel on some games.

So unless you pick up a decent aftermarket cooler, and some high speed RAM that's compatible with Ryzen if you don't already have it (only certain RAM is compat), and OC that thing to at least 4GHz, you'll have to compromise settings.

There are many videos on how to get better performance in R6 if you just Google for Rainbow 6 FPS fix.
