need help for install a little windows

Hi all tom's hardware community!

I have a pc with windows 7, and I wish to have a windows 64 bit, only for playing a game called "planetside 2".

At first I think about a new partition for the new windows, but I read on internet that the common virus infect all the partitions.
So I think about the virtual pc, but because the game require 8 gb of ram, I can't do it.

How I install a new windows without have virus or ram problems?

My pc have:
windows 7 professional 32 bit
CPU: intel i3 2100 3.10 Ghz (dual core - 4 threads)
HARD DISK: 148 GB with 40 GB free (wdc wd1600js-55ncb1)
MOTHERBOARD: Asrock h61m-dgs
RAM: 10 GB

P.S.: NOT suggest me to replace my 32bit system with 64bit.

You do not need 64 bit Windows to run Planetside 2. And no, the game only requires 4MB of ram. What video card do you have -- the onboard video will not work for your rig to play the game.

And it makes no sense that you think you have 10GB of RAM -- a 32 bit OS can only use 4GB of RAM.

because my planetside 2 game on 32bit crashing, and the planetside support not find a solution, I want to try it on 64bit windows. And because of this try, I change 1 ram of 2Gb with 1 of 8GB.

So, the only way to try the 64 bit client is using a new partition with 64 bit windows, right?

I need a solution about the malware. You know how to hide the win 7 32bit partition from the win 64bit partition?
Or if is not possible, you can suggest a anti-malware software? Because, I remember it, the win 7 64bit partition is small and made only for run planetside.

You CANNOT run Win7x64 on a Win7x32 host in emulation, and it would be a very bad idea to try and install a separate Win7x64 partition as you do not have the experience to do that.

You can close this topic! I did it! I reduced the win7 32bit drive, and in the empty space of 45GB I installed win8 64bit with planetside 2 game.
