i'm thinking of building a new pc for gaming, and after reading for days i end up with this build, these are the components that i can get locally

If you're getting the 2400 you need to get the LGA 1155 socket motherboard. Also, that RAM, it is desktop memory, right? You threw a "204" in there, which is the number of pins on a mobile DDR3 module. Make sure you get 240 pin DDR3, which is the desktop version. The HD 6870 is a good GPU, a bit old but still fine. Corsair makes good power supplies. In general it looks good.
