Need help getting better CPUs

I have a Dell Precision 490 with a Foxxconn ls-36 mobo, 4 gb RAM, a Radeon HD 7770, and two Intel Xeon 5160 Dual Core CPUs running at 3 ghz. I recently bought the 7770 GPU and installed it. Everything went fine, but the CPUs are holding me back now as far as gaming goes. I guess the GPU is being bottle necked by my CPUs. So my question is: what are the best dual CPUs that I can buy that fit in my motherboard? I would like to play games like GTA 4, Battlefield, and Call of Duty, because my processors now are preventing me from playing them. Thanks for the help.

well the 7770 isn't really a powerhouse card and will never max out anything really...If I remember those cpus should be fine but I could be wrong and 4gbs of ram is kinda low, some games now want 8gigs

Agree with the above it is the GPU that is holding you back not the CPU's! Plus I would also agree you should go up to 8gig.

8 gigs of ram will be good And get something like a 7950 or R9 270x for 200$ only! 😀

Its just that on http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri my CPU fails to pass in almost all modern games while everything else checks alright. Can I play modern games with my current hardware? Is Can You Run It wrong about my CPUs? How much would a RAM upgrade up my gaming performance? Thanks for all of the help I appreciate it.

They fail the pass because Xeons are not desktop segment. But they will rune, dont worry. Just get more RAM and a 200$ GPU.

Those CPU's aren't exactly powerhouses either. They are from like 2006, which is Core 2 time period.
