So, I wanted to upgrade my old PC with a new GPU (GTX 750 1GB Gigabyte), but the problem is that I have HP Compaq 6300 MT Pro, and it has PSU with 320W, GTX 750 need 300W, first I wanted to upgrade PSU but its realy complicated. Only compatible cards are 1050 and 750. I made decision for 750 cuz i dont have money for 1050. and I started to search.
I found GTX 750 1GB Gigabyte, perfect for my budget. But. This card need 400W?!
Why it needs 400W and can I put it in my crap PC?
PLS need help

it confuses me, Nvidia says it need 300W, Gigabyte says it needs 400W, can someone explain?

Nvidia spec out the reference boards - 750's, by design, need 75W.

Board partners can make their own custom variants though, requiring additional PCIe connectors - and driving the power requirements up.

Which GPU are you looking at, specifically?

That's for the reference model. The Reference MODEL is different than custom AIB cards. Nvidia mentions 300W for the reference chips, but board partners can do custom variants, depending on what type of cooling solution the PCB has, which can increase the card's TDP.
