Question Need help installing motherboard into case

I am using a Asus ROG strix z690-A in a Lian Li 2 Mesh RGB case. It lines up with the middle and bottom standoffs but not the top. The only thing I can think of is the IO needs to be pushed all the way through in the bottom photo. But I have already tried that and it really doesn't want to go through. Any help is appreciated.

Un popular opinion I'm sure, but with mobos with attached i/o's just force it. you look like you are correctly lined up on the back. Hell even in my torrent nano it didn't just line up perfectly in place had to force it a bit
