Hi, this community has been really helpful doing this build so im hoping you can help me out with the last bit. So recently i found out my motherboard on my pre built pc was compatible with a gtx 1050 ti (the motherboard is an asus m32bf). So i realized that the psu that came with my desktop would not be sufficient to supply the grasphics card. So i ordered a 450 w and set it all up fine and now i am onto to installing the graphics card. I have not really a clue what i am doing but have got to the stage where i have succesfully installed my graphics card and now need help. So i managed to boot up my pc and went to go install my drivers as that is what i had heard from my friends to do first with a graphics card. So i went to the latest drivers for the gtx 1050ti and attempterd to install them. I had also tried to do the geforce experience download as i had also heard this was handy to get with your graphics card for drivers, gameplay etc. When i tried to downlolad them i got to a message something along the lines of "cannot continue something something". So i went into my device manager to see if my computer had recognized my graphics card was actually in the computer and it had just said the intergrated graphics i had before from my amd a10 7800. I need to know how to switch the gtx 1050 ti to the primary card, need to know what to download drivers wise and what to do with the intergrated graphics drivers, how do i do a full uninstallation?. (Something to know) The graphics card is in the pci-e slot as it should be and it says on speccy that one of the pcie16 slots is taken so i guess that is a start. Someone who is smart at computers please help me!! I am struggling
Thanks for your help,
Josh.

Solution
Uninstall every video-related driver with DDU:
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Soon after, try to reinstall the drivers directly from NVIDIA's webpage.

Also that a10 is a APU, which means if you didn't own a proper GPU 'til now you'd be using the output from the mobo to connect the video to the monitor, with a GPU you won't use that port, you will use the card's own output, HDMI... DP... VGA... whichever is avaiable to conect it from the pc to the monitor, make sure you're pluggin it right.

hi mandy, sorry i took so long to reply, i did the ddu and uninstalled all the drivers, and am currently installing the new nvidia ones. Dont really understand what you mean about the port, i have pluggeed the graphics card in already and the hdmi from my monitor is plugged into the gtx 1050 and the signal is going to the monitor. I will update this if the driver install is succesful. Thanks for the ddu part

You're doing i right. Hope the DDU helps, if the problem is driver related, it probably will.
