[SOLVED] Need help making a new pc $2000 budget

Current system I built this back in 2014 got the 970 a few years later, and replaced the mobo about a year and a half ago when lightning struck my house fried the mobo. I got lucky though all the parts were still good so i just swapped out boards and was good to go.

I'm not keeping anything off of this pc, prob give it to my nephew or father.

Approx date - sometime this month
Budget range - lets say $2000 maybe some wiggle room for a better parts. I do have 3 grand saved but id rather keep it around 2000 ish.
Usage- Mostly gaming(I'd like to play anthem, and DMC 5, and any mmo's that hopefully will be coming in the future), some web surfing i've always got multiple tabs open and dual monitors, movies, and sometimes digital art with a wacom
Parts not required- Monitors, keyboard, mouse
OS- I can get a win 10 from kinguin for like 30 bucks so lets not even factor that
preferred websites- newegg, amazon, ncix, I also have a micro center not too far away

I'd like to have a quiet pc, and air cooled since I'm paranoid ill go to work and come home to a big wet electronic soup that was a pc.

I call this "Silent Night", it's a all black theme and should be barely audible. Price to performance I would of gone AMD Ryzen however if you prefer Intel then I went with the i7-9700K. Use the 970 EVO for the OS and games that have very long loading screens. I also added in the MX500 500gb M.2 SSD for a bit more SSD storage & then finally a 2TB HDD for files and other games. This build can handle games up to 1080P/240hz with a bit of CPU overclocking and/or some settings tweaking. I replaced/added in silent fans for the case, your rear 120mm fan with be used for exhaust as well as the top 140mm fan. The other two 140mm fans are to be placed in the front as intake. The H500 is a easy case to work in and should allow you to hide the majority of your cables with ease thus giving it better airflow & will look great.

If you want a better GPU then dump the Crucial MX500 and grab the RTX 2080.

what kind of performance difference would there be between a 2070 and a 2080 for roughly $300 more? Also do you think 2070 should be enough to handle most the games out or coming out? Because honestly I've got no clue on this stuff atm, hell i've been using a 970 for so long the lag and delay are just part of the game experience now lul.

The difference is pretty minimal for a higher costs which is why I went with the additional SSD storage then the 2080 and the above setup can easily handle 1080P/60+FPS on pretty much any game out there. I say pretty much because there's a very few games including AC: Odyssey that is poorly optimized and takes a bit of tweaking to get the full 60+ FPS.

16gb is plenty for gaming & streaming. If your video editing then 32gb may be worth it.

The MSI rtx 2070 armor OC was on sale on pi day for $500 instead of its normal like $570 price and it has a rebate for $15 and metro exodus
had a 4tb wd blue in my closet i bought about a year ago
I use alot of up top USB's for headphones and keyboards so i went with an H700 PC CASE cause it has 4 usb ports on top
the 2tb baracudda was $60 while the 3tb was on sale for $70 so i just got the 3tb
i bought a win 10 pro on kinguin for like $42
i got 3 of the be quiet pure wings 2 x3 120mm fans for like $32 I'll throw those on top and just use the other base fans for now.

I didn't grab an SSD yet, i'll pick that up later. Do you think I will need 2 ssd's or do you think one of the evo 970s will be enough? The same goes for extra quiet fans, also do you think I need one of those NZXT internal usb hubs to add more or do you think i'll have enough?

now i'm just sitting and waiting for parts

I'd probably go with this Adata, it's speeds are as fast as the 970 EVO NVMe but with a better price tag.
