First off I'm kind of a newb and bought a motherboard that doesnt have an 5v rgb controller so I have to use the phantek 360a integrated controller on the case. The case comes with 3 fans that are hooked into the rgb controller and you can "daisy chain" more into it. Problem is i bought a liquid cooler made by cooler master that has RGB too well its connector is totally different than the phantek connector that I could use to diasy chain it into their own case controller.

Is there a work around this? Could i cut and splice the connections together?

I did buy a splitter that phantek sells but im not sure that will work for my issue. Here are links for my equipment and the splitter I bought thanks for any help you can give!

Is my only option to buy one of their coolers and connect it to their RGB controller on the case?

ARGB and RGB are not the same platform. You could pick this controller up;

bought a motherboard
Make and model of your motherboard?

When you buy the Phanteks Digital Controller Hub separately it comes with adapter cables so you can plug your lights into their Hub. It is NOT clear from that website whether or not the outputs from the adapter fit common ARGB connectors used by most other makers. Try calling Phanteks Tech Support or Sales and ask them for this detail, and maybe how to buy those cables.

"Special radiator fans"? Well, sort of. Fans have various specs, and one of them is called "pressure" expressed as mm of water. This is important for fans that must force air through resistance like the small passages between fins of a radiator. Fans for use with NO such resistance usually have ratings of 0.6 to 1.5 mm. Fan suited for use with radiators need specs of 1.5 to 3.5. Check the specs of the fans supplied with your AIO cooling system for what they say. I could not figure out which fans those are, but maybe you can find a model number or name on them and post back here.

If you can, post here also the maker and model of the two extra fans you bought and we can advise whether they are suitable,

You have bought those Phanteks fans already, right? They do NOT have the right pressure rating. Can you exchange them? There is another white Phanteks model, the

Phanteks PH-F120MPv2

that IS designed for use with radiators.

Alternatively, IF Phanteks can sell you the adapter cable to allow you to connect the fans that came with your Cooler Master rad to the case's Phanteks Controller, that would work.

My Bad! When I linked to that Phanteks fan I focussed on the white frame and neglected to notice it is NOT ARGB lighted. Their fan with ARGB and good pressure rating for rad use is the the M25-120 D-RGB, available in Black or Matte White.

(The label D-RGB they use IS the SAME as what others call ARGB. It just refers to the fact that the signal line in this system carries digital info packets that are used by the control chip in each 3-colour Node to display the right thing.)

I ended up getting 2 of these and changing them out on the liquid cooler fans and now all the RGB works and apparently these fans are for liquid cooler they ended up screwing into the coolmaster so im very happy! Thanks for all the help.
