Need Help! MoBo or GPU??

Hi! I am a first time builder and am assembling my list of components. I have been researching over the past couple of weeks and also been saving up. *Note that I am on a somewhat tight budget and would prefer it to stay in the ~$650 range*
I am wondering if it would be better to get a better motherboard then the one i have currently chosen ( https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gah110ma ) which would result in me being able to upgrade to better cpu's and faster RAM down the line. OR should i streamline it and just go for a GTX 960 and worry about my upgrades later?

Which do you guys think would be a better option? If you could find an inbetween that would be great but if not give me your opinion!

First time builders neednt waste hours researching. Just come here and ask.
Lets start with what will make a difference; the 380 4 gig IS A BETTER graphics card than the 960(which will suffer at 4 gig cos of the 128 bit bus)
Dont buy a naff psu, the seasonic S12II 520 will 'just about' do for a 380 4 gig but the xfx 550 is better.
That motherboard is ~'meh'. get an H 170. You wont save much if the power phases are not strong enough and you find your self needing a new board and windows licence in 3 years. H110 and i5? hmmm.~.
I wouldnt. 600b? forget it.
Save another $75 and do it wright Dude.

I looked at the xfx 550 but i couldnt find any online stores in stock! Guess ill go with the seasonic then. thanks!

I'm not an expert, but tomshardware PSU tier list has the 600B under tier 3 which isn't too bad for a budget build

yeah like tea urchin said, the R9 380 would be another option

oh, faster ram is not an issue. and dont buy a gtx 960 and naff psu as a compromise, you will be stuck with whatever card you buy for at least 12 months and still have to pay $60 for a decent power supply.
However. Moving on with a 520/550 wat unit would include gtx980 ish cards. Not so bad.

What brand of r9 380 do you recommend? i was looking at the msi but reviews said they had to tinker with afterburner to get the fans to work right. Any suggestions?
