cpu Core i5 2400
mobo Asrock H61m U3S3
ram GSkill: 8GB(4GBx2) DDR3 1333/PC3 10666

gpu Radeon HD 6670 or Palit GF GTS 450 1gb/128bit ddr3

psu FSP Blue Lightning 500w
hdd wd blue 1tb
case cooler master 430

The build here just fits the budget, i want to know if the build is balanced or if it will work. i need feedback on the combination of this parts, is the mobo 'weak' ram too big or wont be supported? any feedback will be ok.

This build is for video editing (adobe premiere), thats why i chose the i5 2400, although the mobo is relatively cheap, is that ok?
This will also be for gaming as well but im not hoping it can handle high settings, i will settle with medium graphics settings.

I also need help on the video card choice, these 2 are on the same price level but im not sure if which one will be better for gaming and video editing. maybe someone can comment on this or suggest another option on the video card (must be same price level.

thanks,
the reason why i considered a nvidia card is because of the cuda tech for video editing, does it really matter? or the hd 6670 is already sufficient?
havent bought anything and the budget is around less than 600USD

il consider that psu u mentioned.

This motherboad is a bad choice. i5 Sandy Bridge has a feature call QuickSync built in that enables very fast H.264 encoding which might be useful for adobe premiere.

With that motherboard (specifically the chipset) installing a dedicated GPU will disable the QuickSync feature. The only chipset that supports QuickSync with an external GPU is the Z68. It also supports a neat SSD caching feature.

Get this board instead. It is a must buy for your needs and can overclock (H60 chipsets can not overclock).

don't listen to him
It's a mobo feature to support Quick Sync not CPU. Also Asrock quality is way better then crappy Biostar that u suggested. And Z68 mobo that u listed will not let u overclock more then 4Ghz (or even less then that) especially for a cheap one.

so the Asrock H61m U3S3 isnt a bad choice right?

i decided to just to spend extra on the gpu, gtx 460 sonic platinum looks good

in the end it will look like

cpu Core i5 2400
mobo Asrock H61m U3S3
ram GSkill: 8GB(4GBx2) DDR3 1333/PC3 10666
gpu palit gtx 460 1gb sonic platinum oc
psu branded 500w
hdd samsung spinspoint f3
case cooler master 430

any comment on the system?
main use will be video editing with games on the side.
thats why i chose quad procs and nvidia card (for mercury playback engine)
