Hello,
I want to install the Insider's Preview for Windows 10 on my SSD, and dual boot it with Windows 7. One problem I have, however, is that I cannot partition my SSD any larger than 21GB ish (screenshot), even though I have 122GB free space.

According to Defraggler, there are quite alot of blocks dotted around in clumps, which is probably why I can't make bigger partitions, right? (screenshot)
But, for obvious reasons, I don't really want to defrag the SSD.

Any help would be appreciated as to how to make larger partitions.

Thanks,

The state of fragmentation is specifically why you can't create a partition greater than that size.

But a single defrag on the SSD is no problem. It won't kill it or anything.
The reason you're not supposed to defrag an SSD is because the standard Windows default is once a week. That WOULD be bad.

Doing it once, for a specific reason? No problem.
Do it, and partition as needed.

(I have that exact config on a secondary laptop)
