Need help! Pc boot but nothing on screen

After powering on my pc fans spins, light glow for 2-3 seconds but nothing comes on the screen. I have tried mannualy reseting bios but nothing working. Monitor light blinking and nothing comes on monitor. Please guys help me what is wrong?

No. It was working normally before.

If you have 2 ram modules, try using only 1. And try in different slots.

I have only 1 RAM module and while waiting for your reply i took out the ram and reinserted it, Nothing again.

Did you try re-inserting it in a different ram slot? i.e. if it was in slot0, then try it in slot2 (the other channel)

Yes I have tried both slots it didn't help.
Spec's are
CPU : INTEL CORE 2 DUO E7500
Mobo : Intel Dg31pr desktop board
Ram : 2gb ddr2
Hdd : wd 320gb cavier blue

I have to tell you something more when I place my finger on the north bridge/chipset heatsink it feels warm.
I just found it. And thought it may help you to find out the problem.

Somehow I managed another ddr2 ram from my brother's system and replace it. But same thing happens.

Yes I tried it yesterday but still the same problem, all fans spins light glows for a 2-3 seconds, light under the mouse is glowing but nothing coming to the screen.

We know it is not your RAM and not your PSU. We need to see if it is your motherboard or your CPU. Firstly can you see if the heatsink/fan assembly is correctly installed?(it probably is correct but better to re-check), then, can you try your CPU in another motherboard? or another CPU on your board?
