In my search for a 27 inch monitor mostly used for gaming ive found a few all of which people say default settings are really bad plus have ghosting. I find benq price to be the best but here is a list. Of course I'm only buying one, maybe a second later on. Thoughts?

If you want a gaming monitor you might consider a 24" 1080p 144hz one, since 27" 144hz are quite expensive. That is true especially if you are going for a second monitor later on. Also note that 1080p on 27" does not look great.
