I'm looking for a decent upgrade from my current graphics card. I'm not looking to overkill my system but I would like an upgrade from my 8800gt that I've had for like 4 years. My computer has:
Amd fx 8350 4.0 GHz.
Asus m5a99fx mobo
16 gb 1866 MHz ram
1 tb hard drive.
600 watt power supply.
Any help you can give would be appreciated. I don't care if its Nvidia or Amd just whichever will give me the best bang for my buck. I would like to stick around $150 or less. It just has to be noticeably better than my 8800gt. Thanks

Thanks. That's right at the top of my price range. Do you know of anything that will cost a little less and still have a decent performance improvement? And I also have a question about the amount of ram I am choosing. Is 16 gb of ram really that much better than 8 gb? I'm wanting to e able to play a game on one monitor and watch YouTube or surf the web on the other monitor. I only had 3gb of 333 MHz ram in my last computer so I'm not very informed on how much tam I should have. But I've been reading that 16 gb is way overkill for anything besides video editing and rendering which I will not be doing any of. Thanks

get 8gb 1600mhz, and then put the money you save which will be about $30-40 in to your video card so you can get this video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202025&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
