need help please

i decided to clean my CPU stock fan and i removed it it was pretty tight and i don't know if i should reapply thermal paste because the fan isn't as tight as before and im scared that might comp might overheat in AMD overdrive Thermal Margin im getting about 40-60 tems idle jumping around. when i removed the fan i saw some thermal paste but it was very little. Please help thank you

make sure you re-install the cpu fan correctly. And i would definitely reapply the thermal paste, if you have got really old/no thermal paste on your cpu thats probably why you're idling higher.
