Need Help ... PLZ

Hi!

I have serious problems with my hardware now. When i open some program/game or anything else what needs CPU performance, mine computer just freezes, and only i can do is reset it ...

So here is my configuration:
Core2Duo E6600
Asus P5WDH Deluxe
2Gb SuperTalent Blue 5-5-5-15
GF Point Of View 7600GS 256Mb
Antec PS 750W
Seagate 500Gb, 32Mb Cache
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

So, I had installed Sandra SiSoft and run tests, they all passed except in one of them: Processor Arithmetic (it just freezes and only thing I can do is restart).

Also, mine temperature of CPU is high - Without stressing (Idle) CoreTemp is saying : CPU Core1&2 - 62 C and Everest said that temp of MBO is 53 C

I did memtest too, and my memory passed with no errors, and also my HDD has passed without errors at SeaTools ...
Now, mine computer just freezes when i try to watch for example movie, youtube clip, even when I am playing Windows Chess ...

So, I changed Heatsink compound, and use compressed air to clean up cooler and MBO, but temp is the same ...

Those temps are def. too high and could cause the problems you mention. What does your cooling solution consist of? What case, fans, cpu heatsink are you using? Did your computer ever work properly or is this a recent development?

I have default Cooler from Intel. My configuration is old about year and a half, and until one week everything was just fine (temp about 40 C at Idle and so on). I have Chieftec Case, wih no added fan at the back of the case, case is always open ...

Take the side panel off put a household / table fan of some sort blowing against your components. If temperatures don't improve, assuming you don't live in Death Valley with no AC, the intel Cooler is done and you need a new one. Adding fans to your case is an easy mod, a blowhole at the top and a 120 mm fan at lowest speed would make a big difference.
