Need help reaching 3.2Ghz on E6600

systemlord, I just took the HSF off and plugged it back in making sure all the holes are in correctly.

Right now with the case off, im getting:
-Tcase/Tjunction-
--34--/--34--35--

And the Ambient is about 27c.
I think either removing the case had made it run.. better than it was earlier or you were right and one of the plugs were incorrectly placed.. because one was hard to undo.. and kept making a click sound almost like a thread had been shredded (FOS).

EDIT:
I noticed that for some reason my fans are running slow.. although i turned off "SmartFan Control" in bios".. im getting 1622 RPM.. insted of 2400+ RPM, any idea whats wrong? Smartfan is off.. only thing i could think of that would slow it down.

Just put the case back on and the Temp raised about 10c now idles at 44c on both cores.. so maybe its just too hot in my room and i need to either wait for winter and/or buy a new HSF.

Your temps of 34-35C core temp seen very good and normal, but when you put it back into your PC case your core temps went up 10C. That right there tells you what your heat problem is, your PC case is not good enough for your cooling needs. Those temps above are very good for using the stock cooler! Can you get your hands on an Antec 900 PC case? The Antec 900 is one of the best PC cases for heavy gaming and cost here in the states around $100 dollars.

ANTEC NINE HUNDRED? if so its worth $ 199 here in Australia, but anyway could you look over my new topic please mate.

I am having troubles now.. i put in a new 8800GT video card.. the temps are higher than before.. even with the case off.. even lowered the Vcore voltage on the CPU so my idle temp wasn't like 50-55.
