[SOLVED] Need help regarding LED Strips (new to this)

Hello! I just built my pc and I wanted to put some aRGB LED strips. Planning on getting the DEEPCOOL RGB 200PRO. When the 2 strips are connected is it fine to connect the 2 strips on one header? Thanks!

motherboard is an Aorus b550 elite

I don't think it's a good idea.
The specs are showing that one strip pulls close to 1 amp.
Many motherboards have a 1 amp max limit per header.
That's why I don't think it's a good idea.

so the only options are 1.) separate the 2 strips to 2 headers and 2.) use only one strip?

You are more than fine to plug both aRGB strip on the same header.

The D_LED1 and DLED_2 on your board can support a maximum power rating of 5A (5V) and maximum number of 1000 LEDs. The strip you want to install has 12 LED each.
