Need help registering my sims 2 game online.

i bought the sims 2 off amazon and want register it online but cant because it says its already been used? can i do anything about this?

Did you buy a used version or is it new?

Contact Amazon or the store that used Amazon to sell you the game. Let them know the issue and ask for an exchange.

If you bought it used, then... yer kinda screwed. Game publishers loose at lot of money from used games. They combat this by requiring online registration and this is just the beginning.

Recently some games require you to register thru Valve's STEAM even if you purchase the actual physical discs. FEAR 2 is one such game, another is Fallout New Vegas. Times are changing...

I recommend you do not purchase any more used games.
