Need help removing cvtres.exe

Hi

My pc currently runs on 99% CPU.

My resource manager shows that 70-80% CPU is use by cvtres.exe

I'm new to PC but I am pretty sure that something is wrong here.

Please help

I just got a windows update with the Microsoft visual and Microsoft.net

There shouldn't be any problem installing these right or should I just exclude these?

Not really unless you work with that program.

Not sure, I don't really know why you personally would need it but if you do you'll know.

Also it was likely just a virus. Theres no reason it should have been using as many resources as it was. Not to mention the whole "can't install or virus scan" bit.

It may a virus since it is at the Windows folder, it is not a Windows core file, the reason why it was taking so much resources is because it does alot of things at once like record inputs, monitor applications and manipulate other programs, which may be another sign of being dangerous but not sure anyways.
