Hello everyone! To get you guys quickly updated, I told my brother that I will be willing to sell my components to him for $400 thats including(See below).
- FX 8350
- MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard
- H20 Antech 620 Liquid Cooling
- MSI R9 280X

His build.
-i7 920
-GTX 570(Just gave out 2 days ago) so using a old 8800Gt I believe
-Generic Motherboard
-Stock cooling

All I am asking for if you guys can propose better suggestions, or ideas then what I already have my mind on.
- FX 8350/8320 Looking to overlock to a minium of: (4.5-4.8)GHz
- Was really wanting the H100i for its performance/Sleek look, but can suffice for the Master Evo 212
-MSI GTX 970
- Gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 Rev3/4

I do a lot of gaming so hopefully that will be enough. As always thanks guys!

For gaming, a intel cpu will be better in almost any gaming scenario.

I don't see why you want to dispose of a FX-8350 for another.

My suggestion is to keep your parts and upgrade to your GTX970.
Give your R9-280X to your brother. If you must sell it, it is worth about $125-$150.

If you want a cpu upgrade, buy an intel cpu, a Z97 motherboard, and use your old H20. Intel runs cool so you don't need to spend big bucks on cooling.
Sell the FX-8350 and motherboard. You might get $150-$200 for them.

For the cooler I seem to have lost the bracing for the intel side of it due to house cleaning and what not...The other thing is my brother wants to do this too as its an upgrade for him. Reason for buying another FX 8350 because 1. its cheaper 2. I was really happy with the performance off it but if I were to buy it again I'll over clock it.

Consider your options.
Your cpu needs are determined by the games you play and how cpu bound they are.
Most games can only use one or two cores. The extra cores of a 8 core cpu are not much help.
What usually counts most is the speed of the individual cores. And FX cores are about 30% slower than the newest haswell cores.
Here is an older comparison which included the FX-8350. It was about as effective as a i3-2120.

The current i3-4160 referenced in toms @$125 has a passmark rating of about 5000, the same as your brothers i7-920.
If both of you want a significant increase in cpu power, look for a i5-4690K and a Z97 based motherboard.
If you live near a microcenter, they will sell you one for $180.

Do not count on much overclocking with your motherboard.

If you will replace your motherboard, a Z97 based motherboard can be as little as $100.

And... why spend $100 on a H100 when that same $100 will buy you a much faster cpu in the first place.
Or at most a $30 cm hyper212 would be all you need for a decent overclock.

Sorry for the rant; just my opinion.
