Hello all,

I recently changed my motherboard in my computer to this:

http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H97MECSM/

(I know it's an H97 chipset but overclocking is still enabled)

I clicked the setup wizard (like an idiot, because I did not know what it was) and then after I went through the whole thing I realized that I'd overclocked my processor. I've done everything I can to try and manually change the voltage back to stock, but it will not allow me to manually adjust the voltage. The bios options are grayed out. Would returning my bios options to default fix this? The only thing that I would lose are my fan curves which wouldn't be difficult to reset. I just want to make sure that this will resolve the issue.

If you have adjusted any settings in BIOS that you want to put back later on, write them down or take pictures of them with your phone. Then press F5 while in BIOS to load optimized defaults.
