Hi guys,
I have a Lenovo all-in-one PC. I'd like to see if I could somehow upgrade it a little, so it can run some decent games (i.e. Cities: Skylines). I know that if I wan some beast gaming rig I would have to get a whole new PC, but that is sort of not an option. I came here because I know pretty much nothing about upgrading PC's and would like some input.

Here Are my Spec's
Processor: AMD A4 6210 APU with AMD Radeon R3 Graphics (1.80 hz)
RAM: 4.00 GB
System Type: 64 Bit operating System, x64 based proccesor
PLEASE HELP!

The bad news is upgrading the important stuff isn't possible. The CPU you can't upgrade as it looks to be a non user changeable type. It's a mobile CPU so that's not terribly surprising but it was worth a shot. Unfortunately since the CPU is also the GPU (called an APU), upgrading anything for gaming isn't an option.

The Good news is there is some upgrading you can do.

For RAM, and HDD/SDD yes you can upgrade. Page 43 of the users manual shows you how to go through replacing or upgrading memory

The system uses DDR3L-1866 speed memory, and an 8GB (2x4GB) kit runs about $35.

You can also upgrade the...
Unfortunately there is not much you can do with that computer especially with it being an A4 cpu that is the least powerful cpu and it is very weak and so is the r3 graphics. Really the only thing you cvould do is upgrade to an SSD for storage and RAM but that's probably it.

honestly there not being that much to do you could TRY a a10 cpu and more ram but i think selling the pc and a replacement is the best way to go

You can also upgrade the hard drive to a SSD for a bit more of a performance boost.

If you end up upgrading to a new gaming rig, the model you have should have an HDMI in, so it can serve as a normal monitor. While not the best "good news" in the world, it should make future upgrades a bit easier over time to not have to get a new monitor right off the bat.
