Here is my story,
I had a AMD FX 8350 paired with an ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z. CPU died so I decided to change because my AiO watercooling pump died (H100i GTX). I can't RMA because the warranty has wore off. So far, I've got a good experience with my Asus motherboard.
I decided to get an i7 6700k but I am hesitating on the board. Those were the ones I was looking for:
-ASUS SABERTOOTH Z170 S
-GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
The Gigabyte one seems to have better functionnalities (2 Ethernet ports and 2 M2 connectors) but the Asus is a TUF one, with 5 years warranty. I also no experience on Gigabyte hardware, if theirs utilities are good and the BIOS.
So what do you guys think? You can also suggest me other motherboards priced around 220$ CAD. (Please use ca.pcpartpicker.com)
