Need help setting ram to 3000 mhz

So I basically bought a new cpu, mobo, and ram. They are the ryzen 1600, B350 fatal1ty, and 8gb of corsair vengeance ram 300mhz (2x4) and in the bios I try to set my ram 2967 mhz but everytime I try to boot it, the computer either doesn't start up or it just gives me an ipx4 or ipx6 error, it starts up at 2133 mhz but not 3000 mhz. Need help, Thank you.

Tried it with 2666 did the same thing with shutting off, i think 1 ram stick is like broken idk, it registers as 4gb and I have 8 but I tried that one to turn on the pc when it did the shutting off thing and it did not work but when I tried with the other one only it worked, What Should I do?

could be 1 ram not working, can you boot with the problematic ram? If so, use memtest86.com to test ram for 1-2 hours and see if there is error message, if so, RMA the ram.

Alright, It does work, and I did boot with the one ram, I will do that test right now and if not today, tomorrow I will tell you what I get and if it gives me an error I will just replace it with another.
