Need help to build PC for an architect

Hi guys! need your help to build a pc to work in 3dsmax, archicad, autocad, photoshop etc + to play pubg, civ, csgo etc

Currently we have

h81m-ds2
i7-4770 3.40
geforce gtx 660
16gb ram
128ssd
2tb hdd

All this since early 2014

The problem appeared from nowhere. Archicad files >200mb make the system think for minutes. However PUBG is running quite well. Decided to build a new PC.

The purpose is the same - to work in 3dsmax, archicad, autocad, photoshop etc + to play pubg, civ, csgo etc

can it be cheaper?
do i really need 1080 now or 1070 is enough?

You would do better to get a Quadro graphics card for the "work" computer. The drivers are optimized for CAD and OpenGL applications. Gaming cards like a 1080 are not optimized for your applications. Keep the old computer for gaming and build a purpose built work computer.
