Need help to choose new CPU

Hello, i got a LGA1155 motherboard with a I5-3350P Processor and i wunder if it will be worth to just buy new CPU for this motherboard or should i buy new motherboard + CPU? The motherboard is from a Acer Aspire x3995 Intel B75 Chipset.

I would say your motherboard is fine. For a new CPU I wouldn't be able to tell you much because I would need to know what you want a new CPU for? Gaming? Also what's your budget?

What isn't performing as well as you'd like? Any i5 should be capable of handling just about anything you throw at it.

The reason i do like a new CPU is becouse i play CSGO and i think the CPU is dragging me down on my FPS sometimes it drops but it might also be my GPU its only a Evga 750 Ti FTW & i recently bought a BenQ XL2411Z i do like to get constant 300FPS instead of 180-300

That gpu and cpu should have no problem running something like CSGO because CSGO is a low end graphics game and you can run it with most on board graphics and processors.

So what is the reason that my FPS Drops alot? i mean, you can just feel when you get a huge FPS drop on 100fps..

Well if your running at 300fps then you drop to 180 you shouldn't care because you wont notice a difference unless you drop under 60 fps. Also if its only CS:GO that does it I wouldn't worry because it may just be CS.

Since you have a higher resolution monitor, a graphics card upgrade is likely to make the biggest difference. Your CPU isn't doing any more work than it was before, but your graphics card is. Something like a R9 280X or GTX960 should give you the improvement you want.

Do you think my motherboard will handle a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB? I mean, its not a gaming motherboard just a standard B75 chipset from Acer Aspire X3995 which i build over in a new case to get my GTX 750 TI FTW in? I do have a Coolmaster 600W PSU becouse it was on sale so i just bought this if i was in need of ugrade later on

From your PM, you clarified that it is a "Coolermaster" PSU. While low-quality, it should be able to [barely] handle a GTX970. The motherboard won't be a problem.
