Hello,
I've been purchasing components for a new PC for a few months now.So far I have:
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
A Samsung 24x Retail DVD Drive (Super Write Master)
Fractal Design Define R4 Case
A Corsair Builder Series CX500 Modular
HyperX Beast 1600MHz 8GB RAM (2,4GBs)
Windows 7 Professonal 64bit.
Now,my original plan was to go with an i5 4670K and a Haswell motherboard with an R9 270,but due to running into unexpected budget issues this has become too expensive.I'm still planning on buying the 270 in a few months but need to assemble this thing ASAP,and hopefully be able to game and do some schoolwork.I have therefore chosen to go with an AMD APU.
I'm considering an A10 5800K.Will this be able to handle 15+ tabs and smoothly play 1080p youtube videos on full screen?Do you have any better suggestions for an APU and motherboard?I don't want to spend more than £150 on both, the closer to £100 the better.
I know this is not a permanent solution and honestly will probably be upgrading to something like broadwell within 2 years,I just urgently need something better than the 11 yr old computer I'm using that can do what I mentioned above.
