Hi and thanks for your time im doing my first ever pc build and orginally with going to use a gtx 980 ti but now i heard about the dx 12 change and thought why not go with amd plus i lowered by budget from 1700 to around 1200 i can spend a max of 1350 and was wondering if this build is good? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7jTQWZ do you guys reccmoend any other better parts since i have 200 bucks extra to spend and is my case good i would like a really nice white case that i could put leds into which is one of my main case priorities (led lights) other wise ill spend the extra money on a nice keyboard and mouse or monitor Thanks for your time!

Solution
I'd personally go with a GTX 970 over a R9 390. GTX 970
Change the power supply to either EVGA, XFX, or Seasonic
Switch to this for RAM. Same thing, saves a bit of $$
Change your motherboard to this one. Better reviews than the one you have.
& I'd go with this case, has a better look to it.

Final:

I was going with 970 in my build as well. Better priced and slightly better frame rate if you play 1080p. Then I read about the dx12 and async shader stuff, and also the higher vram on 390 changed my mind. The 390 seems more future proof, however it will take some time until dx12 games hit the market. So I'd say 970 if you upgrade every couple of years or so, and 390 if you stay with a card for more than two years.
Also the z170, and skylake mainboards are new so you might face some issues there. I would go with haswell refresh if I could redo my build.

hey thanks for the reccmoendations i really like that case you gave me and the ram i chose the r9 390 over the gtx 970 cause its got more than double the vram and it seems way more future proof and in about 3-4 years im going to invest into the best gpu i can get if i like pc gaming so i think the r9 is the right choice for me after that everything else you said is perfect ty very much

Great build but the graphics card would look better in my opinion as a nvidia because I find they are supported more and can be better performance. Also your power supply if you ever wanted to maybe stick another graphics cars in or more in the future you may need more power.
