Hello, i want to play online games but cannot seem to host the games. I can join others games but still it would be awesome if i could host myself as my internet speed is not that good. Anyway when searching i found i need to port forward to port no. 11155. I've tried to do it but i cannot seem to make it work. i used port trigger provided in my router but it just doesnt work. i am using windows 7. (cannot seem to add screenshots ..sry) anyway in port trigger option , i have multiple choices:
trigger protocol: UDP (??)
Open protocol: ??
start trigger port: ??
end trigger port: ??
start open port: ??
End open port: ??

these are quite confusing.. should i add 11155 in all these settings .
Also. i have other options in forwarding setting.. do i have to do it in sequential order..
1. DMZ configuration
2. Port Mapping configuration
3. Port Trigger configuration

(Edit: I also do have upnp setting, havent tried it yet but i heard only enabling it is enough will try today.)

Solution
Hi

DMZ is an one step solution. You just need to specify the ip of your computer and the router will forward incoming connections to this computer.

Port mapping is what your looking for and not the port triggering. In port mapping you would usually be specifying the external port and internal port which u can specify the same. In your case it is 11155 and there will be an option to enter the target ip which would be your computer ip. The options might be different. But the concept is the same.

Also keep in mind that you mentioned that your internet is slow. So if you were to host a game your friends might be affected because of poor connection. It also depends on the game you are playing as the data transfer varies.

I'd be happy to...
