So I've set up a PC setup that I'm planning to buy, the current chosen pieces are based on the budget, the question is whether all the pieces are correct and will I not have any errors, blue screens etc. ?

I would then choose an R9 3900x, or 3950x, over a 10900k, for such tasks if you are not willing to wait for 4th gen Ryzen, that is to be announced this week.

A little something I threw together. From what little I know, of what you intend to do, work wise, you are going to want a scratch disk.

What does brand pairing have to do with a build? We're supposed to be concerned with compatibility and getting the OP to a system that performs optimally with the investments made.

That being said, yes my colleague has said what I would've said though I would also add, you would need a dual channel DDR4-3600MHz(or higher, like DDR4-4000MHz) kit to get the best out of that platform.

I would disagree on ram. Intel doesn't really benefit much past 3200. 3600 is as far as I would go. Beyond that, the cost, for the performance, is a waste.

Well, without stating etc, can you elaborate on your editing? You posted this thread in the PC Gaming section so is this system supposed to game and later help you stream or upload content to the web after editing?

You will need copious amounts of ram and that with higher frequency if rendering is involved.

App's that will be used for your tasks?

Adobe After Effects only. Making long high produced videos that usually take a few hours to render.
