So my hard drive is beginning to show signs of wear and failure, so I will be getting a new and larger hdd. I want to run a clean install of Windows 10 and then move some of the larger game files over to my new hdd from the old one, to avoid annoying download times. Does someone have a guide for this sort of thing.

There are also some guides on microsoft.com on how to clean install.

As far as moving the games - I would get windows installed on the new HDD, then download Steam, then copy the files into the appropriate Steam folders (assuming that is the platform you're using for games)
