Need help unlocking Athlon II X3 455

so ive been trying to unlock my athlon ii x3 455 with the ACC in the bios by setting it to all cores or auto or even per core but everytime it just wont work. What happens is,it wont even boot and i have to press the power button just to turn it on again and when i go back to the bios its still the same but the ACC is on,ive already tried turning off Cool n quiet and Boot failguard but its still the same.

And i already tried raising the voltage to 1.40 from 1.37 but still the same,so do you think i just have a deffective core? or is there something else im not doing? Help would be greatly appreciated.

It comes disabled for a reason, sometimes you can get lucky and get another core, others not, you can try lowering your cpu speed. Good luck!

lowering my cpu speed to unlock the core? never heard that one

Its easier for a unstable core to work at lower speeds.

should i try it now? what else do you recommend doing, should i fix the voltage as well or leave it alone? and what about the values? tnx man

Put the voltages in a safe value, dont really remember what Vcores were used on those CPUs, but start with the highest safe voltage that you can use.
