Okay, I can't find anything on my motherboard, it's a weird one. The name of it is either K30AD-M31AD-M51AD-M32AD or Intel Core I3 4160, somebody help me please? It's an ASUS motherboard.

K30AD-M31AD-M51AD-M32AD is the model number.

That's what I used to reach the link above. "K30AD-M31AD-M51AD-M32AD" is not an Asus motherboard model number. Run CPU-Z if that is all that is printed on the board.

I would get in touch with iBuypower and let them tell you which Asus board they actually used in your build. Apparently, they used one of several. And the exact board and its revision no. is required to get the correct BIOS update. Otherwise you risk bricking the PC.
What do you need the BIOS update for, exactly?

Trying to upgrade my ram, used crucials scanner to find out what I need. Have 2 4gb sticks and only the old one will work so I decided to just try and update my bios to see it that will fix it. When I put it in the first time the pc would power up and shut down, power up and shut down ex. It did completely power up then I recieved a no signal from my monitor so idk what the deal is, very frustrating, something as simple as putting a stick of ram into your computer.

That white label partly covered by the cooler's fan cable is the model of the board. I think it is an Asus H81M-E: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H81ME/
If you can verify that, the above site should have all the info you need for the board. But the board should be fine with any and all DDR3 1600 MHz RAM w/o needing any kind of BIOS update as you can see by going to the specifications tab.

That's pretty much the same one I have with a few added extras, goodjob finding it. But can you think of any reason why I can't get a signal to my monitor when I have both of the sticks in?

One stick might be bad. One DIMM slot might be bad. You may not have had the stick fully seated in the slot. Try each stick individually in each slot individually. If good...
Then run Memtest on each stick individually in each slot individually for at least one full pass each time. http://www.memtest86.com/

Btw, don't try downloading/flashing the BIOS from the above Asus web page unless you are 100% certain that is the same board as you have. That could brick your board. (Theoretically, if the BIOS update does not recognize the board correctly, it will abort the update operation. But why take a chance)
