Hello Everybody
I currently use gtx 960 2gb , it pulled off 1080p 60 fps in AAA games just fine until 2018 in high ( not ultra) setting.
Now I want to upgrade my GPU, but I have concerns.
Mainly I do not have a gaming monitor so I will stick to 1080 60fps for couple a years So any card that can give me solid 60fps for 3 or 4 year is gonna be just fine.
I Built my PC in 2015 and I cannot upgrad CPU or any other major part so I want to get the best out of what I currently have.
I'm really confused; there are so many options not only various chipsets but also different variations and models of each card such as asus TUF, ROG , Gamings, OCs etc.
So Considering my tight budget which specific brand and model should I choose?
My own choices are 1060, 1660, 1660s, 1660ti and rtx 2060
Btw what happens if I stick to ,cheaper, non OC and non Gaming models would it make diffrence that much ?

My PC Configuration:
CPU: Core I7 4790K
GPU: GIGABYTE GTX 960 2GB OC
M.B: GIGABYTE P85-D3
POWER:550 W 80 PLUS BRONZE

hmmm 🤔 so you're fan of waiting for new nvidia releases? maybe 3050 and 3060?

Well, according to your patience....and of course whether these will be "paper" launches as well. The pricing and performance on the 30xx series is quite impressive. The new AMD stuff is quite impressive.
If you want something anytime before next spring (only half joking) the 1660ti should fit your needs nicely.
I think your CPU can handle any of the cards you mention.
As far as all the different options within a model....they don't change the performance THAT much.
As far as brands...everyone has opinions....I like ASUS....I've had great luck with ASUS.
Basically within the cards you mention....the higher you go....the more games you will be able to play on ultra at 60 fps....but even the GTX1060 can probably play most games at this level. I'm thinking the 2060 can probably play just about anything on this level.

TNX 4 your answer.
speaking in same price do you think a two fan non gaming and non OC rtx 2060 is better than three fan Gaming OC 1660ti ?
and will there be cheaper RTX 3000s ? like 3060 and 3050? If Nvidia releases such cards they'll probably cost same as 2060. should I wait for them? and what will happen to GTXs in that case? will they be discontinued and replaced with same priced RTXs?

I'm not a big fan of OCing or OC cards. I'm of the opinion that if you want faster....buy faster.
As I said....I think the differences due to all the bells and whistles within a model are pretty small. Plus with OCing there is always more heat.

As far as the 3000s....I don't know much regarding NVidia doing that but they have in the past.

As far as waiting for them...I generally don't wait and I buy what's available for what I want to do.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the current generation.
