Hi everyone, so I'm looking to upgrade some components in my computer just because I would like to get some better quality on some games and also kind of help boost my PC for new games coming out(e.g Star Citizen). I know a wee bit about PC hardware but not that much so I need some help with making smart choices for some upgrades.

I currently have :
PSU: 550W power supply
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-MLX2 (LGA1155 Cpu socket, 2 slots for DDR3 RAM, and a single slot for GPU)
CPU: i5 2320 Quad Core 3.0GHz
RAM: 8GBs DDR3
GPU: Sapphire Dual-X 1GB DDR5 HD Raedon 7850

The components I am willing to upgrade are the CPU, GPU and RAM. With the games I play (WoW, Planetside 2, Star Citizen) I really want to be able to play WoW on ultra settings already without a problem and by problem I mean it not going down to 35 fps in Raids, that's not bad but I would like it to be better. Now for Star Citizen and Planetside I don't expect to play them on Ultra, but to just have an increase of FPS for them. Planetside I can play on higher settings but throttles because of my CPU. So I initially i want my first upgrade to be my CPU, but not sure what to get or what would be worth it, I don't want to spend over $300 on any of the upgrades so just need some help on what to get for that price range and also I want to make sure I get a quad core just because I know they are better for gaming so that's something to keep in mind. For the GPU pretty much the same thing nothing over 300 and I would like it to be a Nvidia chipset, and also keep in mind I can only get one GPU because of one slot. Last but not least, the RAM, I would like to upgrade to 16GBs just not sure really what I can get with my motherboard and such and whats compatible. Hope you guys can help and also if you have any suggestion on what I should get first or any suggestion at all towards upgrades I would like to hear it. Thanks! and any help would be really appreciated!!!!

Ok first Ram-You wont need more than 8GB for almost any game today so i dont think you should upgrade that, and if you do want more then you'll have to replace the ram you already have with this since your Mobo only has 2 ram slots.

Thats the ram if you want it.

CPU - Cant go wrong with the i5-4690k,its better and cheaper than yours.

GPU - for 300 dollars the best you can get is this 960,it shouldnt have any problems with the games you play
