question if i go with the cheaper 3gig 1060 would that hamper my doom 4 gameplay in terms of framrate and performace compaired to the 6 gig version?

also what is the difference if any between the regualer 1060 the turbo model and the super clocked

Kind of, not really though.
I recommend going for the 6GB version though, because it gives you 10% more performance and more VRAM to work with in those open world games that'll use a bit more.
The 3GB still performs a bit better than the RX 480, so either is a good choice.
Don't get the Turbo or SC models, stick with the Gigabyte Windforce cooler for entry level 1060 cards for each variant, they offer the best value cooling and performance.
The other two have poor cooling and acoustics.

any chance theres a low profile version because i dont think the 1060 will fit in my Z400 case as its the stock hp case
