I am quite a noob when it comes to PC gaming so when I first got into it I bought the prebuilt Cybertron Borg Q. Its not the highest end PC by far and I'm looking to into upgrading it soon to be able to play games like The Division and new games like it. But I have one major problem, I have no idea where to start. If someone could inform me which parts to replace and good replacements for them I would be most greatful! Thank you for your help! Solution
Since you didn't tell me your budget i will list some options:
1) CPU is okay-ish but going over the power of let's say GTX 960 will be bottlenecking it.
2) SSD if you want it.
3) Definitely graphics card should be your priority. Depending on your budget: R7 360/ GTX 750 Ti ==> GTX 950 ==> GTX 960/R9 380 ==> R9 380X (bottleneck with this and thereafter GPUs) ==> R9 390/ GTX 970 ==> R9 390X ==> GTX 980/ R9 Fury ==> Fury X ==> GTX 980 Ti (super high end).
4) Depending on the GPU you choose and the power supply you have, power supply upgrade may be necessary.
