Need help wiring cat5e Wall Jack

I am trying to set up a small network and purchased some wall jacks from Amazon. I have tried different combinations that I have found online and also tried what is labeled on the jack themselves with no luck.
These are the plates I ordered

I have been testing with one of these cables, I just cut off one of the ends.

On the jack, switch wires like this:
Right-------Left
2--------------7
1--------------8
3--------------6
5--------------4
