Struggle with 5.1 Creative inspire T6060 , an old sound device.. So the problem is kinda known to people, but no solutions to be found.
The windows plays only 2 speakers from 5 ( front ones) .
- When you test sound, the all speakers (5 pcs. ) produce sound, clear and nice
- Downloaded proper driver, Realtek HD manager, set the system to 5.1
- Realtek HD manager able to play all five speakers with "Fill speaker" but the sound speakers produce is very low quality and not acceptable
- subwoofer have 3 output/input cords ( black, green, orange ) . My PC mainboard is Asrock B450M steel legend, ive put the cords where colors belongs (black is rear speakers, orange is subwoofer/center speaker, green is front speakers)
- Playing games works all 5 speakers, but when listening to music from browsers (Firefox, IE) from Windows media player, from VLC video software, the only 2 front speakers sound.. which is kinda annoying
- Placing black (rear speaker) cord into green slot, plays rear speakers
Any ideas how to make all 5 speakers work?
