[SOLVED] Need help with 8k editing PC

Hi,

I'm building an 8k video editing rig for a friend, I'm only really used to building gaming and office rigs, what will I need for a 8k editing rig after looking online it just looked like 16gb ram, a Ryzen 7 3600 and something like a 1070 would do the trick nicely, I'm just wondering what people would recommend. I dont know much about editing, but I'm sure AMD Ryzen is better than Intel for editing. Dont use nvidia 1xxx series, because there's newer than that like RTX. And of course, 2080 Ti, 2080 or Radeon VII, Vega 64 is a better choice

yeah definately going Ryzen, was thinking a quadro 4000 also

Is what too old sorry? The 4000 is somewhat old but they made the new RTX Version.
