Need help with a new build please

I am starting a new build and have a few questions. The case I am thinking about using is the Fractal Design Meshify C, the Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 mounted up top and the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition GAMING GPU. Now with the H100i v2 up top, it says the max motherboard component height is 40mm but the ram I have (already purchased) is listed as 44mm. So if my math is correct, they will not fit together. If I mount the H100i V2 on the front, which I prefer not to do, the GPU may be to long for the cases max GPU length of 315mm.

So, should I change the case? What would be another good airflow/low temp case that would work? Could I just switch from a liquid cooler to an air cooler, and what would be the best option for an air cooler that would fit, like the Noctua NH-D14, which this site lists ast the best air cooler.? If the H100i v2 mounted up front would fit with the GPU, would the radiator restrict the air flow into the case enough to drastically raise the temperatures.

thank you

I'm a fan of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro series. One of the few cases out there with a decent all mesh front and good flexibility all around for water cooling. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jrVBD3/phanteks-case-phes515pbk
Or for fancier tempered glass: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2mQRsY/phanteks-enthoo-pro-m-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-es515ptg_bk

Air cooling is often preferable unless you are aiming for the highest possible overclocks. Cryorig has nice mid-range coolers like the H7. For something similar to the Noctua but not in vomit colors, you can look at the Cryorig H5 Ultimate. There is also the Phanteks PH-TC14PE line up in various colors (Though the Phanteks and Noctua often have interference with tall memory) And...

Or Hyper X Fury when it is cheaper.

Thanks Eximo

I'll look into that case and air coolers. May go with air since I don't plan to overclock unless I have to. Nothing I can do now about the memory, FedEx has it and it's on the way, but I'm more of a function over aesthetics kind person anyway. All this could have been avoided, if I had just looked at the dimensions, lesson learned.

edit
Also, would mounting a H100i v2 in the front restrict the intake airflow, causing higher temps? It seams like it would and that is whats keeping me from really wanting to mount it there. Also, I have looked at some air coolers like the ones you suggested, and the ram I have coming seems to be to tall for them. The H5 Ultimate has 30-35mm ram clearance.

What is your opinion of the Fractal Design Define R6 as a case?
