Need help with a possible build for gaming and 4k

Hello everyone, i'm going to be building a computer here within the next month or two and need some help to determine what I should get. My budget is 1400-1700 USD, I currently have a build on PC part picker but I'm not entirely sure on if it's the best price/build for what I'm using it for. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VyCM3b I can wait for GPU prices to go down (noticed they have been) if I can fit a 1080ti in there then i'd dish out another 100-200. also any good 1440p 144hz gaming monitors would be a huge help also.

Changed RAM to 3200mhz. Changed Motherboard to a very solid one that will do what the other will and is cheaper. Changed GPU to 1070ti. Really best to wait on a higher end card. Sell the 1070ti and get a 1180 in a few months.
