Need help with arma 3 monitor.

Hello, i need help with arma 3. I want to buy a monitor for arma 3 but what specs are important for this game? Do i need a high or low resolution, ips or tn display, high or low hz. My specs are i7 6700K, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1080, asus Z170.

I can't see that a monitor should be arma 3 specific. with a 1080, you could easily go 1440p 144hz Gsync, IPS. i.e. asus rog or acer predator 27".

But without some idea of budget or size constraints we can't help more.

What is your budget? 60hz is fine I doubt you will exceed 60fps no matter your system with armas terribly unoptimized engine, if you play games other than arma I would look at 120hz or higher panels. A TN panel is more responsive than IPS, I would recommend a TN if you are really into twitch first person shooters, but in arma I would probably prefer the accurate and vivid colors of an IPS over the better response time of a TN. As for resolution 1440p would be nice, maybe 4k although i'm not sure how well arma will run at 4k, I would think it would be fine with your i7 and gtx 1080 system but like I said the engine in that game is not exactly what I would call optimized.
