Need help with BSoD

Hello, i didint know where to exactly put this thread so i put it in the windows 7 section i hope i am not doing anything wrong with taht i am new on this forum.

anyways I have a question about BSoD i have been getting recently.
why i say recently i mean last couple of months.Its very wierd its not constantly appearing it happens like once a month and it happens while windows shutdown.The error code i get is system thread exception not handled and it says that it was caused by avgntflt.sys driver.
My computer and system:

CPU: amd athlon 2 x3 435
GPU: ati radeon r7 260x
RAM: 4 gb(2x2 gb)
OS: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit service pack 1 build 7601
i dont know what psu and motherboard i have

i just wanted to know if this is something i should be worried about because as i said it only happens maybe once every month sometimes even 2 months.

if any additional information is needed or i forgot something please do not hate or start raging
just tell me and i will add it.

Do you have avg antivirus installed? Reinstall the antivirus as that could just be a corrupt file

Or open cmd and type in sfc /scannow

1.Windows event viewer should also be checked for errors

i have aviraAntivir as my anti virus i will try to reinstall but i cant tell if it worked right away you know as i said it happens rarely
