Ok, i would upgrade to the i72600K with that board, you wont see much if any difference with the rampage III. upgrade to the psu i recommended, get the SSD's i said, the gpu's i said, the RAM, and the monitors. Get the HSF and case if you dont have a full tower case. Overall, i think you could knock off at least $1,200 upgrading your current build.

I did some research and i have a friend in the hardware business that can knock of 50% of any hardware. thing i they don't have ASRock motherboards, any other board recommended for the ivy-bridge, also.. should i wait for the ivy processors? whats your opinions?

There's no point blowing money on a super high end motherboard when it has features that the OP won't use.
The Rampage III is LGA 1366 and will NOT be upgradable to Ivy. The Maximus IV is LGA 1155 and while it MIGHT be upgradable to Ivy, it will not have PCI-E 3.0.

OP, I would suggest this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131790 They just shipped so your friend might not have em yet.

Lastly, I would not wait for Ivy. Right now Sandy Bridge completely blows everything else outta the water. When it's not good enough a simple processor swap and you're on your way.

1366 is on its way out? its their hex-core line...why would they not make that socket to fit hex-core Ivy Bridge? Not trying to argue, i just assumed that they would. My bad.

Mkay so.

Comments comments comments (btw this is the best ram i can get from that store as they dont have sniper or the other nice ones 🙁"

we have the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 but there is not a huge difference between that board and the asus IV in price

Yeah I gotcha. Sometimes Intel doesn't make sense.

See, they used to have 2 chipsets. LGA 1156 (dead) and LGA 1366 (dying) but with the recent Sandy Bridge processors, they bundled both into one LGA 1155. Therefore LGA 1155 is the only chipset I would recommend, as it's been confirmed that it's the chipset Intel is pushing out Ivy Bridge on.

thing is i sell and buy new setups twice a year, and the release date for ivy is estimated around 12 mars 2012? atleast over new year. And i need to get some sexualhardware frustrations out rather soon nau :)

If you upgrade that often, and dont care about the money, get the biggest, most bad-assed system you can! thats awesome! i want to have a computer upgrade that often...I would highly recommend you saving money on a water cooling system though unless noise is your issue. the Thermaltake Frio is honestly 95% of any water cooling system out there outside of custom loop (hundreds of dollars). I would also get either an Antec 900 case, Cooler Master HAF X, or the new Corsair Obsidian case thats out there. They are sexalicious!

im sorry im having a hard time to solve this
Final question.

its gonna be i7 2600k
and i fell for the Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
so i look at that motherboard and it supports high ram sockets, what would be the best choise here? (ram)
the rest is decided :)
2x gtx 580
crucial m4 6g/bs solid state drive
wd black 1 t
Corsair 1200w gold
27 samsung lcd 1 ms screeen (times 3)
lite-on bluray reader

Overall looks awesome, but you still need some fine tuning. for the parts you have.

2600k good, for gaming i would like to see you save and put a 2500k in. same performance, even though you have the cash.

Go with MSI Twin Frozr II GTX580's, not the EVGA's. MSI's perform better and OC cooler.

MoBo is a great choice!

Crucial M4 is best on market, what size are you contemplating? I wouldnt go below a 128Gb with your budget, and if so, maybe even RAID0 a couple of them (totally OverKill!)

Corsair is my personal favorite 1000W + PSU.

Monitors are top notch my friend...i want 3 myself!

Get that Thermaltake Frio 0575 heatsink/fan though! its a beast! and it will get you amazing OC's! you can trade it out for the stock if you want to sell it for your next upgrade.

These are my last suggestions. as far as brands and specs for you. you got a good grasp, and these are minute preferences from here on out.

I would suggest sticking with the 2600k. Hyper Threading might become useful.

EVGA offers lifetime warranty's on their cards, and they cover overclocking. Not saying you should stay with EVGA ( I have an MSI Twin Frozr II myself) but it's something to consider.

For an SSD, look at the new Mushkin Chronos Deluxe SSD's. They are the fastest on the market but they DO come at a high premium. I would prefer a Patriot Pyro because of price.

Gonna disagree with the Frio. It was designed with LGA 1366 CPU's in mind, so it's big, loud, and generally obnoxious. The Noctua DH-14 is the favorite around here, and cools just as well as the Frio but is stealthy silent. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018&Tpk=noctua%20dh%2014
