Hello friends ,few months back i asked about if i should purchase certain graphic card and after that i realized that there is no point in trying to upgrade my current PC since its SO old.
So if anyone has few mins. to spare and help out with this PC thank you in advance :)
This PC is by no means High End PC ,but with what i have in mind it will be at least 5 times better 😀
I decided to do this now because i need to git gud on Dark Souls 1 since Dark Souls 3 is coming out in April. My PC is so old that it can't even run DS1 with more then 30 FPS with DS fix.I am faaaar from min. req. to play DS3

So here is what I had in mind:

CPU:i5-4690k or i5-6600 Skylake now i didn't understand which CPU is better so yea 😀
HDD:I plan to buy SSD SATA3 120GB Kingston, and use my old HDD for storage. Now i don't know if that can affect PC speed but better safe than sorry.HDD is 1TB Seagate on 5900 RPM
RAM:HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2133MHz
Graphic Card: GTX-960
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P
Power Supply:I really don't understand anything about it so i don't know which one should i use with this PC
Case:Same thing as power supply ,i only found this one that is in my price range- Zalman Z11 Plus

So thank you in advance for all the help :) TumeX

P.S: If you maybe think that some part is better then the one that i listed and is just a bit more expensive ,feel free to say so :)

Actually, you could save a little money and go with an i3 6100. Dual core with hyper threading and will easily handle a GTX 960. Gave you a very good PSU, don't skimp here, cheap power supplies aren't cheap when they kill the rest of your parts.

Wow that was fast thank you for fast reply, huh that only shows how little i know about all this stuff,i thought i3 was outdated ,i am idiot sometimes. Now that i red little about i3-6100 and bunch of forum threads ,i noticed that people mention that simply having more cores is better because of games benefit more from more cores. Now clearly i have little to no idea what that means ,just wanted your opinion on that.
Yea i agree about PSU ,i knew that is very important but i didn't know which one should i use 😀 will definitely get the one that you recommended

In applications that use all four threads, a true quad core will perform better than a dual core with hyper threading which is two cores/two threads for a total of four. Since not many games can utilize 4 cores right now, an i3 still performs very well in most games because the single threaded performance is nearly equal to an i5 quad core at the same clock speeds. You can still use the quad core if you wish obviously, but if on a strict budget, I don't think the i3 would disappoint you. You can read up a little on PSU's in the links below. For gaming systems, most of us on here recommend a Tier 1 or 2 PSU. The efficiency rating of the PSU (Gold, Bronze, etc.) doesn't have anything to do with the quality.

Oh i understand now ,i am kind-a on a strict budged and this def. helps. There's high chance that i'll go with i3 that you recommended ,but if by some miracle i get more money i might get i5 !
Ok now i have something interesting to read !
Thank you again for the help!

Its worth noting that for your graphics card. Go with the r9 380, its the amd equivalent of Nvidia Gtx 960 but the r9 380 beats the gtx 960 in almost every becnhmark test, yet they cost same. if you prefer nvidia cards then thats cool. Figured id throw it out there based purely on a price to performance ratio.
Feel free to look up some benchmarks of the two facing off.

Thank you ! Haha i was just watching GTA5 benchmark test Intel Core i3 6100 vs Core i5 6600K vs Core i7 6700K

Huh i never even considered it.I'v tried gpuboss.com and i can see the difference! In my country r9 is even cheaper then GTX 960 .Thank you for pointing that out 😀

Hey ma8 i just checked for all the parts and in my country, and not a single shop has that type of PSU ,all they have is cooler master 🙁 ,do you maybe have equally good PSU just Coolermaster type :/

Oke i found V550 they have that one ! Thanks !
