so im planing on getting 2 of these alpine subs for my car http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6MM36U9414&cm_re=alpine-_-0JR-000F-00012-_-Product i need help picking a amp that can power these subs. I don't want to spend over $300 on the amp if possible im only 17 working part time so im on a budget. I want it to be a alpine amp so i can have alpine head unit, amp, and subs i think it all matching would be cool. I don't quite understand the whole RMS of what the amp needs to be and how to wire the subs to the amp and if it needs to be 2 channels mono or so on. Also need help on a box i want a enclosed one so can i put 2 in one box and i know it needs to be a certain cubic area and all just need help with every thing above really thanks in advance for any help.

What version of the type R's are you planning on getting. If you get the 4Ohm DVC or the 2ohm DVC you wiring options are very different.

When figuring out how much power you need you just add the RMS up because you will be wiring the two subs in series or parallel. Each sub will take half the power being supplied by the mono amplifier.

2ohm DVC can be wired like this - http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22#results

4ohm DVC can be wired like this - http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42#results

(I personally would go with the 2ohm option.)

As for a high output Alternator the internet is your friend. Just do a search for your vehicle.

What kind of car are you putting this in. Are you planning on upgrading your alternator wiring and adding a second battery? because there is no way that i can think of to make a stock alternator power an amp to put out 2000watts RMS.

I'm running a single sub on 500rms watts with an upgraded alternator and my lights dimm in and out when I'm pounding on it. 1 of these subs powered correctly and in the correct box should sound AMAZING.

Yes be nice to your baby. don't stress the electrical system to much. Also don't get hung up on brands. There are plenty of good brands out there that don't cost nearly as much. In my ride I have:

Pioneer head unit
Elemental designs 6.5 component speakers in the front doors.
Infinity 6x8s in the rear deck panel
I have 1 - 12 inch elemental design sub in a sealed box.
I have a 4 channel 500 watt clarion amp powering my components and rear deck
and a 500 watt rms mono JL audio amp powering my sub.
4 gauge http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0076S2AMK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
140 amp ANL fuse.

Remember to use good heavy wire and a good fuse for your power. You also may want to do the Big3 upgrade to your car. Google it ;)

Ok so I've decided after thinking about it for a while to just save up the money and go all out two Alpine type R's 12 inch and do the big3 and upgrade the alternator. So I have two more questions will this amp work with two Alpine type R's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XJJET2?keywords=alpine%20amp&qid=1444402237&ref_=sr_1_5&s=car&sr=1-5 and do you know anywhere i can get a high output alternator that will just bolt into my car and work also i am planing to put a extra battery in the trunk so i would run power from the front battier to the one in the trunk then to the amp correct? It says that the amp puts out 650 RMS at 4ohms and 1100 at 2 ohms is it possible to wire 2 duel voice coil subs to this amp running at 2ohms to get the 1100 RMS? and if not if ran in 4 ohms does both subs get 650 RMS or do the each get 325?

I have this Alpine Subwofer . Affordable and reasonably powerful, the Alpine SWR-12 D4 is a nice proposal for anybody who needs a good and dependable subwoofer without spending too much money and going for crazy specifications. This is a regular 12-inch sub with 1000 watts of peak power and 500 watts RMS. It features cone made of Kevlar and all other materials used are good quality. With good price and decent performance, this sub was built for bass heads that want the best of both worlds – accurate response and precise tones and strong bass thump . I got great and informational reviews before purchased from http://www.audiodrive.org/best-12-inch-subwoofer-reviews/
